  • Choose File > Save & Send > Create a Video
    The settings are as follows:

    1. Computer & HD Displays - Use this default setting if you are going to display this slide show with a projector on a screen for an audience. Alternatively, a colleague may want to view it on a computer screen. The resolution of your presentation is the best, using this setting. It is also the largest file size, so is not suitable for emailing purposes.

    2. Use Recorded Timings & Narrations - If you have spent the time to record timings on the animations and transitions to add movement in your presentation, these will remain intact in the video that you create. The same is true for any narrations you might have added. If you have chosen not to add any timings of your own, the default settings for PowerPoint 2010 will be assigned to your presentation.

    3. Seconds to spend on each slide - By default this setting is 5:00 seconds. You may make a change here to increase or reduce this timing.

    4. To accept these settings click on the Create Video button.
